Job summary

Illinois School District U-46 is seeking a dedicated intervention specialist to support students through MTSS and SEL goals. You will analyze assessments, coordinate with building leadership and teachers, and deliver explicit, small-group instruction aligned with the district literacy framework.

Responsibilities include monitoring progress, preparing interim reports, and contributing to the Building Intervention Team.

Qualifications

• Experience with MTSS, SEL and Tiered Instruction aligned to standards.
• Knowledge of Illinois Learning Standards and Common Core.
• Proficiency with data tools (Excel, reports) and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Analyze district and classroom data to identify student needs.
• Coordinate with principal and teachers to set intervention schedules.
• Provide small-group instruction targeting identified gaps.
• Supplement instruction with U-46 Literacy Framework.
• Compile progress data and share reports with stakeholders.
• Support MTSS team discussions with progress monitoring data.
• Other duties as assigned.
