Job summary

Technology Plus in Louisville, KY is seeking a Tier II Systems Engineer to join our IT team and support clients and internal teams. You will help maintain and enhance our technology infrastructure, with opportunities across Level 1 and Level 2 responsibilities.

The role is full-time, based at our Louisville office, with daytime hours and potential for on-site travel. A collaborative environment and ongoing training opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Relevant certifications (CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, AWS) depending on role.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Keeps up-to-date with IT trends and technologies.

Responsibilities

• User Support: provide first-level support to end-users and troubleshoot issues.
• System Monitoring: monitor network and system performance and respond to alerts.
• Documentation: maintain accurate hardware, software, and network records.
• Hardware Maintenance: assist with installations, repairs, and upgrades.
• Software Updates: assist in installations, updates, and patches.
• Training: participate in training to enhance IT knowledge and skills.
• Network Administration: manage switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Server Maintenance: administer server infrastructure and virtualization.
• Security: assist in implementing security protocols and intrusion detection.
• Backup and Recovery: manage data backup and recovery solutions.
• Project Support: collaborate on upgrades, migrations, and expansions.
