Job summary

Advanced Business Solutions in Louisville, KY is seeking a System Administrator - Tier III who thrives in a fast-paced MSP environment. You will perform advanced troubleshooting across desktops, servers, networking gear, and storage, act as the escalation point for complex issues, and help lead technical projects for our diverse client base.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of relevant IT experience.
• 1–3 years in a senior technical or Tier III role.
• Strong Windows desktop/server knowledge (Win10/11, Server 2016/2019/2022/2025).
• Experience with AD/Entra ID, Exchange, M365, and Intune.
• Networking fundamentals and virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware/Azure).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• PowerShell scripting and automation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot advanced technical issues across desktops, servers, networking, and storage.
• Collaborate with vendors to support hundreds of applications.
• Serve as escalation point and own high-profile issues.
• Provide leadership for Tier I/II technicians.
• Lead root-cause analysis investigations and implement fixes.
• Plan infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, and client onboardings.
• Develop documentation and SOPs, and maintain knowledge base.
