Job summary

Avera Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a Regular, day-shift switchboard and scheduling support role. You will answer and direct all incoming calls, perform scheduling as needed, and maintain strict patient confidentiality.

Forty hours per week, Monday through Friday, with daily hours potentially adjusted to meet census needs. High school diploma or equivalent required; prior switchboard or scheduling experience preferred.

• Previous switchboard and/or medical scheduling experience preferred.
• Computer skills are essential for daily tasks.

Position Highlights

Work Schedule:

Forty hours per week, Monday through Friday. The hours per day may vary in order to accommodate the census needs of the facility.

Education/Experience:

High school graduate or equivalent. Previous switchboard and/or medical scheduling experience preferred. Computer skills essential.
