Job summary

Emler Swim and Gymnastic Schools in Frisco, TX is seeking a Deck Manager / Team Manager to lead on deck and in the water, supervise hourly staff, and mentor instructors. This role trains you to become a certified swim pro and safety expert while influencing student growth and family engagement.

The position requires evening and weekend shifts, strong leadership, and a passion for coaching children. Training will be provided, with opportunities to advance within a vibrant school culture.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a passion for working with children.
• Positive energy and strong communication.
• Natural leadership and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work consistent schedule, including weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends.
• Physically active and able to be on feet, in water, and moving with purpose.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team on deck and in the pool
• Coach instructors and serve as a lead instructor
• Celebrate student wins and observe progress in the pool
• Support families and ensure customers feel confident and cared for
• Stay organized by assisting with scheduling, evaluations, and enrollment goals
• Upload and enforce safety standards with staff and students
