Emler Swim & Gym in Houston is seeking a Deck Manager and Team Manager to lead a dynamic on-site team, supervise aquatic operations, and mentor swim instructors. You’ll set schedules, guide safety standards, support families, and help kids build confidence while growing your leadership skills in a fast-paced, student-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a passion for working with children.
• Positive energy, strong communication, and an natural leadership style.
• Love helping others grow, whether a toddler in the water or a new teammate.
• Able to work a consistent schedule, including weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends.
• Physically active and comfortable on feet, in the water, and moving with purpose.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team on deck and in the pool—supervise, support, and train hourly staff for smooth class operations.
• Coach instructors and serve as lead instructor—mentor swim teachers to deliver safe, engaging lessons.
• Celebrate student wins—observe and encourage progress in the pool with students of all ages.
• Support families—help ensure each customer feels confident and cared for.
• Stay organized—assist with scheduling, performance evaluations, and enrollment goals.
• Upload safety standards—model and enforce a safety-first mindset for staff and students.
