Job summary

Emler Swim & Gym in Austin, TX, is seeking a Deck Manager/Team Manager to lead our on-deck team and ensure safe, engaging, high-quality lessons for kids and families.

You will supervise hourly staff, coach instructors, and help drive enrollment while developing your leadership skills. The role requires evenings and weekends with training provided to grow into a stronger swim-education leader.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a passion for working with children.
• Positive energy, strong communication, and natural leadership.
• Able to help others grow and guide new teammates.
• Available for consistent evenings, weekdays, and weekend shifts.
• Physically active and able to be on your feet and in the water.

Responsibilities

• Lead deck and pool team; supervise, support, and train hourly staff.
• Coach instructors and serve as lead instructor.
• Celebrate student progress and encourage growth.
• Support families and ensure customers feel confident and cared for.
• Assist with scheduling, evaluations, and enrollment goals.
