Job summary

Goldfish Swim School is seeking a Operations Manager to oversee daily school operations, staffing, customer service, retail, and party activities. You will lead the team to ensure safety, quality instruction, and a positive guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to train staff in swim instruction and operations while maintaining SOPs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications or equivalent desired.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
• Experience as youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor or aquatics instructor/supervisor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations to ensure the school runs per GSS SOPs.
• Manage staff to maintain high productivity, performance and employee satisfaction.
• Train and oversee staff to provide superior swim instruction and customer service.
• Provide sales and marketing training to qualified staff.
• Oversee retail and vending departments to ensure proper product mix and pricing.
• Schedule staff and manage payroll; ensure budgeting and financial documentation.
