Job summary

Goldfish Swim School is seeking a General Manager to oversee daily operations, staffing, pool and cash management, customer service, retail and private party activities. You will strive to meet financial targets by motivating and leading a team of 30–60 employees and reporting to the Regional Manager.

The role requires onsite leadership at the Staten Island location, with availability on weekends and weeknights to support operations and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills; able to multitask under pressure.
• Experience supervising a team of 30–60 employees.
• Budgeting and financial target awareness; cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Directs and controls daily operations to ensure adherence to GSS SOPs.
• Manages staffing, recruitment and training of a high-caliber team.
• Oversees front desk sales, enrollments, and customer service quality.
• Maintains safety procedures; trains staff on Emergency Action Plan.
• Schedules staff and manages payroll; monitors performance and scheduling.
