Job summary

Goldfish Swim School - Delaware is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily operations, staffing, pool operations, cash handling, and customer service. You will work with the General Manager to ensure high standards and smooth operations.

This role offers leadership opportunities, hands-on training, and a dynamic environment where you wear flip flops and drive team success, with advancement potential as the school grows.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
• Experience as lifeguard, youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor and/or childcare provider required.
• Two or more years of management experience preferred.
• Two or more years as a swimming instructor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily operations to ensure the school runs according to GSS SOPs.
• Assist GM and department managers with daily tasks.
• Manage GSS staff to maintain productivity and satisfaction.
• Train aquatics staff to provide quality swim instruction and oversight.
