Job summary

Baxter Healthcare in the United States seeks an Associate Sales Representative for our full operating room capital equipment portfolio. You will represent Baxter and build trust with doctors and nurses, promoting clinically impactful solutions on-site.

Aligned to the Surgical Business unit, you’ll collaborate with a team of Sales Consultants to meet personal and business goals, address customer concerns, and contribute to market growth while traveling as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred with 2+ years experience or 4+ years related experience.
• Effective influencing skills - ability to understand needs of nurses and other decision makers.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, organizational, problem solving and presentation skills.
• Flexible, autonomous and able to collaborate with multiple team members to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Willingness to travel at least 75% and may involve visits to remote or urban areas.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and promoting Surgical Portfolio in your territory to meet customer needs.
• Independently formulating and implementing selling strategies to sell products of intermediate complexity directly to customers by phone and on site.
• Engaging with install base and existing customers for incremental purchases and issue resolution.
• Ensuring clinical adoption through product trialing, demonstrations, and in-servicing.
• Scheduling and completing customer sales calls and following up on opportunities.
• Assisting with setup of product demonstrations for customers as requested.
• Supporting site visits, product fairs, and mock rooms as necessary.
