Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Surgical Technician to support the perioperative team as a scrub, first or second circulator under RN supervision. The role involves maintaining sterile technique, assisting with supplies, and coordinating with the OR team.

The ideal candidate will have an AS degree or certificate in Surgical Technology, and BLS certification within 30 days. Sign-on and relocation bonuses are available.

Qualifications

• Must be able to independently scrub basic surgical procedures.
• Demonstrates knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, microbiology and pharmacology.
• Applies sterile technique and perioperative teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile environment and asepsis.
• Assist with supplies and equipment to ensure efficient operations.
• Facilitate communication between units and nursing staff.
