Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or Surgical Technology certificate required.
• BLS certification within 30 days after hire.
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique and aseptic practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintains sterile environment and asepsis during procedures.
• Coordinates supplies and equipment to ensure efficiency.
• Facilitates communication between units and nursing staff.
• Documents patient data and orders in the medical records.
• Transcribes orders accurately and schedules tests and consultations.
• Prepares patients and participates in Time Out procedures.
