Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff by communicating changes in patient status.
• Prepare OR rooms with necessary instruments, sutures, supplies and equipment.
• Draping patients and assisting the surgical team during procedures.
• Turnover of room between cases and maintain aseptic technique.
• Provide input for physician preference cards and maintain safe environment.
• Participate in infection control and quality improvement processes.
