Job summary

Qualifications

• Registration with the Virginia Board of Medicine as a Surgical Technologist required.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff by communicating patient status changes.
• Prepare OR rooms with instruments, sutures, supplies, and equipment.
• Drape patients and assist surgical team during procedures.
• Turnover of room between cases and maintain aseptic technique.
• Support infection control and quality improvement initiatives.
