Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent military training in Surgical Technology.
• Level I requires 0–18 months experience as a Surgical Technologist.
• Level II requires 6–12 months Surgical Technology experience.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains sterile field with team to ensure sterile environment.
• Prepare Operating Room with appropriate instrumentation, equipment and supplies.
• Assist surgeon during procedures and pass instruments safely.
• Maintain instrument counts (sponge, needle, instrument) accurately.
• Coordinate and schedule cases; support ambulatory and OR activities as needed.
