Job summary

Duke Health Lake Norman Hospital in Mooresville, NC seeks a Surgical Technologist to support the operating room and ambulatory settings. You will prepare the OR, pass instruments, and assist with pre/postoperative care under RN supervision.

Level progression from I to II is expected with demonstrated competency. New graduates or those with 0–18 months experience are welcome, with opportunities to advance within a Magnet organization offering a $10,000 commitment bonus and relocation assistance

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or maintains an accredited Surgical Technologist certification (NCCT or NBSTSA).
• Or evidence of successful completion of appropriate training in Surgical Technology in the United States Military.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Operating Room with instrumentation, equipment and supplies.
• Demonstrate correct and safe instrumentation passing and maintain counts.
• Assist in preoperative and postoperative care in the ambulatory surgical setting.
