Duke Raleigh Hospital, a campus of Duke University Health System, is seeking Surgical Technologists to support sterile technique and assist the surgical team in the operating room and ambulatory settings.

Level I/II responsibilities include preparing the OR, maintaining sterile field, and assisting with patient care under RN supervision. A BLS certification is required, with potential for progression within 18 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or maintains accredited certification (NCCT or NBSTSA).
• BLS certification required for Level I and Level II.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile field and ensure team maintains sterile environment.
• Prepare operating room with instrumentation, equipment and supplies.
• Assist in preoperative and postoperative patient care in OR and ambulatory settings.
