Job summary

Responsibilities

• Preparation for operative procedures, ensure instruments, equipment, and sutures are complete and functional
• Set up sterile field and scrub before patient enters room
• Organize back table and Mayo stand for smooth case flow
• Provide ready access to needed items and resources during cases
• Collaborate with surgeon to anticipate needs and adjust as necessary
• Precept and mentor other staff and students in surgical techniques
