Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist surgical teams under the RN circulator. You will scrub for physicians, prepare sterile setups, and participate in turnover of operating rooms in a busy OR environment.

Requirements include completion of an accredited surgical technology program and current BLS certification. The role offers a structured hospital setting with opportunities for growth within a large health system.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited school of surgical technology and certification.
• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification every two years.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for physicians in assigned service area, providing high-quality evidence-based clinical care.
• Prepare operating room by stocking instruments and supplies, and organize case carts.
• Assist in preparing, moving, and positioning patients; pass instruments and supplies during procedures.
• Participate in turnover of operating rooms.
