Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist in operative procedures under the RN circulator. You will scrub for physicians, prepare sterile setups, pass instruments, and help turnover of ORs in assigned services.

The role requires completion of an accredited surgical technology program, active CST credential, and ongoing BLS certification. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with mixed 12-hour shifts and potential signing bonus.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited school of surgical technology with required certification.
• Certified surgical technologist credential from a recognized certifying body.
• Maintain current BLS certification every two years.

Responsibilities

• Scrub for physicians in assigned service areas and provide high-quality clinical care.
• Prepare OR by selecting and checking case carts and supplies.
• Set up back table and Mayo tray with instruments per procedure and surgeon preference card.
