Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our operating room team. The role supports surgeons, nurses and assistants by preparing instruments, maintaining sterile fields and assisting during procedures.

Responsibilities include setting up rooms, handling sterile supplies, counting instruments, preparing patient skin, transferring patients, and ensuring safety standards are followed. Candidates should complete an accredited program and hold CPR certification.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• CPR certification with 0–2 years clinical experience.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures.
• Sets up surgical instruments, sterile drapes, and sterile solutions before operations.
• Tends to patient during pre-operation procedures and ensures sterile technique.
• Counts supplies and assists surgeons/assistants during procedures.
• Transports patients to operating room and helps position them.
• Monitors vital signs, checks charts, and assists with gowning and gloving.
• Operates sterilizers, lights, suction, and diagnostic equipment as needed.
• Restocks and cleans the operating room after procedures.
