Job summary

UCHealth in Aurora, CO is seeking a qualified Surgical Technologist to join the OR AIP team on dayshift. This on-site role requires a High School diploma or GED, plus State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration and BLS certification.

Candidates should have at least 6 months of Surgical Tech experience or be a graduate of an accredited program. Pay ranges from $27.61 to $41.41 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration required.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
• Minimum 6 months Surgical Tech experience or graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment and supplies.
• Ensure equipment and instruments are in good working order; assist with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.
• Pass instruments to physician during surgery and track instruments and supplies.
• Receive and process specimens for laboratory delivery.
• Work with critical thinking in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
