Job summary

Aurora Medical Center – Washinton County in Wisconsin is seeking a skilled Surgical Tech to join the operating room team. You will assist with aseptic preparation, instrument handling, and patient positioning to support safe, efficient procedures.

The role requires completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program, BLS certification within 6 months, and a willingness to grow in a fast-paced hospital setting. Full-time, on-site position with strong team support and benefits.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in Surgical Technology.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 6 months if required by department.
• No prior experience required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe surgical area using aseptic techniques throughout procedures.
• Assist in gowning, gloving, preparation and draping of the surgical field.
• Support passing of instruments, suction and retraction as needed during cases.
• Prepare room setup and equipment and ensure sterility and readiness between cases.
• Assist as Second Assistant as necessary and notify staff of issues with equipment.
