Geisinger in Wilkes-Barre, PA is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support operative teams. You will scrub, gown, glove, drape, and set up instruments; participate in timeouts; prepare specimens; maintain sterile technique; and assist with intraoperative needs across ages.

This full-time day position offers a $7,500 signing bonus (eligibility applies) and 12-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, with varied start times. Prior certification required; hospital experience preferred; union: Yes.

Qualifications

• Requires Surgical Technologist Certification.
• Graduate from Specialty Training Program (Required).
• Previous surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon with procedures and coordinate treatments.
• Prepare, scrub, gown, glove, drape and set up instrument table.
• Maintain aseptic technique and participate in intra-operative needs.
