Baylor University Medical Center- Dallas is seeking a Surgical Technologist 2 to assist in the operating room under RN supervision. You will ensure a safe OR, scrub in, and maintain instrument readiness for each case.

Responsibilities include instrument handling, aseptic technique, draping, and assisting the surgical team while adhering to infection control policies and regulatory standards.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
• Certification as CST or equivalent is required or expected.
• BLS certification required; minimum experience per program guidelines.

Mansioni

• Scrub in before surgery and prepare instruments.
• Prepare and maintain the instrument table for procedures.
• Set up OR and arrange sterile supplies and equipment.
• Assist with draping, patient positioning, and passing supplies.
• Disassemble instruments and manage decontamination and waste per policy.
• Follow infection control guidelines and safety standards.
