Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to support our operating rooms. You will perform aseptic techniques, prepare sterile fields, and assist surgeons with instruments, sutures, and supplies during procedures.

We require completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program, state certification (NCCT/NBSTSA), and BLS. Prior hospital scrub tech experience is preferred, with a strong emphasis on patient safety and teamwork.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree in Surgical Technology preferred.
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program required.
• Certification through NCCT or NBSTSA required.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Scrub Tech in a hospital setting preferred.
• BLS required.

Responsabilidades

• Applies asepsis principles; performs surgical scrub, gowning, and gloving.
• Assembles supplies per patient and procedure requirements.
• Sets up sterile instrument table and assists in draping.
• Anticipates needs of surgeon for instruments, sutures, and supplies.
• Maintains accurate count of sponges, needles, and instruments with circulating nurse.
