Jefferson Health Plans is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician (CST) for Einstein Montgomery's Short Procedure Unit. The role supports intraoperative teams in a 32-hour weekly schedule, 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, with no weekend or on-call requirements.

As a CST, you will maintain sterile fields, anticipate surgeon needs, assist with gowning/gloving, and support the perioperative team across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care. Precepting responsibilities may be included.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED completed.
• Graduate of a surgical technician training program.
• Knowledge of patient-centered care principles and effective communication.
• Ability to maintain sterile field and assist intraoperative team.
• Familiarity with OR equipment and patient safety protocols.
• Understanding of precepting and training fellow staff.

Responsabilidades

• Create and maintain a sterile field for each procedure.
• Anticipate surgeon's needs intraoperatively and assist as required.
• Assist with gowning/gloving and draping to maintain sterile conditions.
• Count sharps, sponges, and instruments; report discrepancies.
• Maintain supplies and a safe, clean operating room environment.
• Precept other surgical team members as needed.
