Jefferson Health Plans is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician (CST) for a part-time role at the Honickman Center in CC. The CST will support the intraoperative team, prepare the sterile field, and assist with patient care across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative stages.

The role emphasizes patient-, family-centered care, teamwork, and precepting responsibilities. BLS, CST, and TS-C credentials are valued, with a focus on safety and efficiency in the operating room.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a surgical technician training program.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and intraoperative care.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and care partners.
• Commitment to patient safety and strong attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare operating room equipment, instruments, and supplies for procedures.
• Assist with gowning/gloving and sterile field maintenance; support patient safety.
• Provide thorough handoff reports to relief personnel during procedures.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe perioperative environment and precept others.
