Newark Beth Israel Medical Ctr is seeking an OR Technician CTOR in the Operating Room to join a dedicated team. Day shift, 37.5 hours per week, hourly pay range highlighted below. The role supports perioperative care under supervision and requires certification as a Surgical Technologist and current BLS.

The position emphasizes safe patient outcomes and collaboration with perioperative staff. Full-time status with comprehensive benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be certified Surgical Technologist.
• Current BLS required (American Heart Association).
• Successful completion of Orientation and Departmental Programs with documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an environment that facilitates safe patient outcomes.
• Ensure patient's physiologic responses to surgery are as expected in the surgical suite and across the perioperative division.
• In collaboration with the perioperative RN, function as a team member to organize and administer individualized age-specific patient care.
