Job summary

Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ, is seeking an OR Technician CTOR to join the Operating Room team. Working with the perioperative staff, you will organize and deliver age-specific care in collaboration with the RN.

This full-time, day-shift role offers a 37.5 hour week with pay range $34.80–$42.88 per hour. Current BLS and certification required; orientation completion and department training included.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified Surgical Technologist.
• Current BLS required (American Heart Association).
• Successful completion of Orientation and Departmental Programs with documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an environment that facilitates safe patient outcomes.
• Ensure patient’s physiologic responses to surgery are as expected in the surgical suite and across the perioperative.
• In collaboration with the perioperative registered nurse, the surgical technician will function as a member of the team to organize and administer individualized age-specific care to patients.
