Job summary

Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ, seeks an OR Technician CTOR to support the operating room team during day shifts. You will assist with setup, sterile processing, and intraoperative tasks under the perioperative nurse supervision.

Must be a certified Surgical Technologist with current BLS; orientation programs completion is required. This full-time hourly position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive wage in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified Surgical Technologist.
• Current BLS required (American Heart Association)
• Successful completion of all Orientation and Departmental Programs with documentation

Responsibilities

• Maintain an environment that facilitates safe patient outcomes.
• Ensure patient’s physiologic responses to surgery are as expected in the surgical suite and across the perioperative.
• In collaboration with the perioperative registered nurse, the surgical technician will function as a member of the team to organize and administer individualized age-specific care to patients.
• Maintain an environment that facilitates safe patient outcomes, and ensure patients' physiologic responses to surgery are as expected in the surgical suite and across the perioperative division.
