Job summary

Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is seeking an OR Technician CTOR to join the Operating Room team in Newark. Working closely with perioperative staff, you will help organize and deliver age-appropriate patient care during the surgical process and support safe outcomes.

The role requires certification as a Surgical Technologist and current BLS. Day shift, full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with comprehensive benefits and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified Surgical Technologist.
• Current BLS required (American Heart Association).
• Successful completion of Orientation and Departmental Programs with documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an environment that facilitates safe patient outcomes.
• Ensure patient’s physiologic responses to surgery are as expected in the surgical suite and across the perioperative.
• Collaborate with the perioperative RN to organize and administer age-specific patient care.
• Maintain an environment that facilitates safe patient outcomes and ensure patients' physiologic responses are as expected in the perioperative division.
