Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ, is seeking an OR Technician CTOR to support the Operating Room team. The position is full-time, day shift, 37.5 hours per week, with hourly pay guidance provided below.

As part of the perioperative staff, you will collaborate with the circulating nurse to organize and deliver age-appropriate patient care and ensure safe surgical outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified Surgical Technologist.
• Current BLS required (American Heart Association).
• Successful completion of Orientation and Departmental Programs with documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an environment that facilitates safe patient outcomes.
• Ensure patients' physiologic responses to surgery are as expected in the surgical suite and across the perioperative division.
• In collaboration with the perioperative registered nurse, the surgical technician will function as a member of the team to organize and administer individualized age-specific care to patients.
