Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ, is seeking an OR Technician CTOR to support the Operating Room team. Working with perioperative staff, you will organize and provide age-appropriate care under supervision, ensuring safe patient outcomes during the surgical process.

The role requires Certified Surgical Technologist credentials and current BLS. Full-time day shift, 37.5 hours weekly, with competitive hourly pay and benefits through RWJBarnabas Health.

Qualifications

• Required: Must be a certified Surgical Technologist.
• Current BLS required (American Heart Association).
• Successful completion of Orientation and Departmental Programs with documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an environment that facilitates safe patient outcomes.
• Ensure patient’s physiologic responses to surgery are as expected in the surgical suite and across the perioperative.
• Collaborate with the perioperative nurse to organize and administer age-specific care to patients.
