You will verify orders, maintain accurate inventory reports, collaborate with sterile processing, and act as a liaison among OR, Purchasing, and Central Sterilizing to support surgeons and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience with inventory, distribution, and shipping/receiving preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Order and distribute OR supplies for Outpatient Surgery.
• Coordinate with Surgical Services managers to identify inventory improvement opportunities.
• Oversee daily purchasing and distribution of OR materials and supplies.
• Collaborate with sterile processing to minimize excess inventory.
• Act as liaison to Purchasing, sterile processing and OR staff for inventory control.
• Receive supplies and special orders; verify accuracy.
• Maintain inventory records and reports.
• Work with surgery buyer in Purchasing Department.
• Manage inventory related to picking, replenishing, requisitioning, shipping, and receiving.
• Extend duties to all hospital areas.
