Job summary

Dayton Children's Hospital is seeking an Inventory Coordinator for the Outpatient Surgery area. You will order supplies, oversee daily purchasing and distribution of OR materials, and work with surgical services leaders to identify inventory improvement opportunities.

Under supervision you will verify orders, maintain inventory reports, and liaise with Purchasing, Sterile Processing and OR staff to ensure timely access to supplies. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 12:00 pm–8:30 pm; no weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience with inventory management in a hospital setting.
• Experience with distribution and order fulfillment preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Order supplies for Outpatient Surgery and coordinate purchasing.
• Oversee daily activities for purchase and distribution of OR materials.
• Collaborate with Surgical Services Managers to identify inventory improvements.
• Maintain accurate inventory reports and records; liaise with Purchasing/ Sterile Processing/ OR staff.
