Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH is seeking an Inventory Clerk to coordinate and perform supply and equipment distribution across departments, ensuring smooth operations in offices and warehouses. You will manage order status communications, assist with receiving and delivering shipments, maintain the Handheld Ordering System, and keep inventory accurate and compliant.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential, along with basic data entry and experience

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Experience with inventory management software is preferred.

Responsibilities

Acts as a liaison to fulfill supply and equipment requests and to resolve incorrect orders, product recalls, and shipments. Communicates order status and advises of problems and delays as needed.
Assists with the receiving, sorting, preparation, and delivery of inbound and outbound shipments, packages and mail.
Manages Handheld Ordering System – maintains templates, ordering processes, policies, and procedures.
Performs data entry of equipment and supply transactions. Catalogues and organizes product for multiple departments.
Maintains inventory, monitoring expirations and placing orders as needed.
Assists with ensuring compliance, organization, and cleanliness.
