Colonial Group is seeking a Surgical Technician to assist in the operating room by preparing instruments, passing tools to the surgeon, and maintaining sterile technique throughout procedures. You will also help manage case carts, assist with turnover between surgeries, and support administrative tasks as needed.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, BLS certification, and must meet state regulatory requirements.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS required. When applicable, must be registered with State Regulatory Agency.
• Dexterity and ability to maintain professional decorum in stressful emergent situations.
• Must be conscientious, organized, and able to respond quickly to surgeon/patient needs.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares for procedures by pulling instruments and ensuring good working order.
• Anticipates surgeon needs and passes instruments during surgery.
• Maintains aseptic technique and handles sharps/instruments per policy.
• Ensures surgeon preference cards and pick lists are accurate.
• Assists with OR turnover and stock replenishment of supplies.
