Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited surgical technology program.
• Certification: CPR; DORA registration required.
• Minimum 2 years of surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
• Assist with surgical patient care under RN/physician supervision.
• Verify supplies and equipment before each case and communicate deficiencies.
• Maintain sterile field and correct counts of instruments, sponges, and sharps.
• Prepare medications under supervision and adhere to sterility and infection control.
