Job summary

The position requires one year of registration experience, knowledge of ICD9/CPT codes, and strong English communication. Travel to off‑site practices may be needed; proficiency with MS Office and Epic is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year recently experience registering patients in a hospital or clinic.
• General knowledge of ICD9 and CPT codes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to travel to off site physician practices.

Responsibilities

• Schedule clinic patients for surgery and diagnostic procedures.
• Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and forwarded.
• Obtain demographics and financial data from patients and determine funding eligibility.
• Input demographic and financial data into the SMS System.
• Notify departments and the patient if surgery is rescheduled and update records.
