Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ year of recent hospital or clinic patient registration experience.
• Ability to navigate medical terminology.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel to off-site practices.
• Familiarity with ICD9 and CPT codes.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Schedule clinic patients for surgery and verify the patient has funding for the procedure.
• Ensure all required medical documentation is completed prior to surgery.
• Act as a liaison between the clinic, admissions, operating room, physician, and patient.
• Communicate the surgery schedule and any changes clearly to all parties.
