Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year recent experience registering patients in a hospital or clinic, working as a Medical Assistant, or working in medical billing.
• General knowledge of ICD9 and CPT codes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated experience using MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Schedule clinic patients for surgery and verify funding sources before procedures.
• Act as liaison between clinic, admissions, OR, physician, and patient to communicate schedules and changes.
• Ensure completion of all required medical documentation prior to surgery.
