The position supports a multi-age patient population across birth to geriatrics and requires strong attention to detail, customer service, and excellent telephone skills to ensure smooth scheduling and operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Five years clerical, computer experience, and medical terminology required.
• Good customer service and attention to detail required.
• Good telephone and communication skills a must.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Surgical staff with clerical duties and posting OR cases.
• Transcribe physician orders and complete the admission medical record process.
• Ensure the schedule runs smoothly and address related issues.
• Care for birth to pediatric, pediatric/child patients 1–11, adolescent 12–17, adult 18–64, geriatric 65+.
