Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgeries in the computer with patient and physician details.
• Answer phones and assist physician offices and patients promptly.
• Complete pre-registration and obtain required authorization prior to surgery.
• Maintain logs for cancelled appointments and perform clerical duties (photocopying, mailing, filing).
• Keep surgery scheduling area clean and organized and verify all scheduled cases.
• Explain payment policies to patients and document insurance verification and payment discussions.
