Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of related work experience with knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally with physicians, physicians’ office staff and co-workers providing excellent customer service skills and works collaboratively with a variety of individuals.
• Create and schedule patients for surgical /procedural procedures in the Scheduling module; print daily and weekend OR schedules as needed.
• Answers all incoming phone calls with proper greeting 100% of the time; monitor voicemail and return messages promptly.
• Responds to department emails as assigned in department rotation.
• Rearranges cases upon request of physicians or physicians’ staff and/or charge nurse across HP OR, ESP OR, Endoscopy, IR and Cardiac Cath lab.
