Responsibilities

• Maintain the surgery schedule and provide necessary information to patients and physicians.
• Coordinate, register and schedule appointments for patients according to availability.
• Conduct patient pre-certification on proper insurance approval for appointments and medical care.
• Ensure all pre-operative required tests are scheduled and completed.
• Coordinate and ensure equipment, room availability, and pre-surgery medications are arranged prior to scheduled procedures.
• Communicate detailed surgery preparation instructions and answer patient questions.
