Chesapeake Urology is seeking a Surgical Poster to support patient coordination of surgical care. The role serves as a liaison to patients, physicians, and hospitals, ensuring smooth pre-operative processes and documentation within the EMR.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of surgical posting experience, knowledge of insurance, and strong customer service skills. Urology experience is a plus, and travel within the region may be required.

Competenze

Minimum 3 years of surgical posting experience.
Proficient knowledge of insurance.
Experience with EMR systems is a plus.
Urology experience is a plus.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Mansioni

Coordinate all aspects of a patient’s surgical care and act as a liaison among patients, physicians, hospitals, and caregivers.
Coordinate pre-admission testing, additional tests, lab work, and necessary authorizations.
Schedule appointments according to physician preferences and ensure timely pre-ops.
