Job summary

BD is seeking a Procedural Specialist to promote AR&R products through clinical support within a defined geographic area. You will educate physicians and hospital staff, coordinate training, and build strong customer relationships.

This role requires 3–5 years OR/procedural experience, surgical knowledge, credentialing, and the ability to travel 60–80%. Proficiency with MS Office, PowerBI, SFDC, and Showpad is expected, with a home-based setup and extensive travel.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree highly preferred; or minimum of 6 years equivalent relevant work experience with High School diploma
• Minimum of 3–5 years experience in the Operating Room or procedural areas
• Surgical and procedure knowledge; adequate to support clinical cases
• Medical/surgical terminology; basic anatomy knowledge
• Current credentialing and/or certification in respective clinical discipline
• Advanced knowledge of surgery; experience with general or plastic surgeons preferred
• Experience in the hernia space
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Self-motivated with ability to take on additional responsibilities with minimal supervision
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote, PowerBi, SFDC, and Showpad
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to convey complex concepts clearly
• Ability to travel 60–80%, including overnight travel
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
• Must pass criminal background checks and facility access requirements
• Maintain vendor credentialing

Responsibilities

• Educate and train physicians and hospital staff on AR&R products
• Coordinate field-level training and clinical support for cases
• Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, nurses and hospital staff
• Monitor market trends affecting AR&R sales and product development
• Collaborate with Region Manager and Territory Managers
• Represent BD in accordance with policies and procedures
• Process customer complaints and returns per procedures
• Maintain company vehicle and property
• Complete BD reports and product tracking and complaints reports
• Cover territory and support AR&R procedures as directed by Regional Manager
• Other duties as required
