Banner Health's North Campus Clinic in Tucson is seeking a detail-oriented Surgery Scheduler to coordinate elective, urgent, and emergent procedures. You will schedule cases, manage charges, orders, and key data while serving as a liaison among department staff, physicians, and patient families.

In this fast-paced role you will support multiple providers, ensure timely communication, and compile reports for leadership. Strong medical terminology knowledge and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of medical clerical experience, preferably in a hospital central scheduling or physician office setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is required.
• Knowledge of payor contract terms and processes.
• Excellent organizational, communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate case times for elective, urgent, or emergent surgeries in a scheduling system.
• Enter physician orders, patient charges, and related data for daily procedures.
• Print and manage physician orders and schedule block times.
• Compile data and generate management reports for leadership.
• Greet and assist patients and families; act as a liaison among staff and physicians.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure accuracy of records and statistics.
